The York Centre for Magnetic Resonance is focused on the study of chemical and biological systems. It supports research projects in structural biology, biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, and especially development of novel NMR methods.

NMR Equipment

Very-High Field (700-800 MHz)

Bruker Avance Neo 700 MHz narrow bore NMR spectrometer equipped with a N2-cooled triple resonance cryoprobe. The probe is a 5 mm TCI model, with detection on either proton or carbon channels, and a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. The spectrometer is equipped with an automated sample changer and a temperature-controlled carrousel with space for 24 samples.
